Throughout Florida and Georgia, roofs get covered with fungus, algae and mold. This has been a problem for property owners for decades. In the late 1960’s, Roof Life; and a team of research scientists began the task of developing two formulas that would clean and protect asphalt - fiberglass shingle roofs effectively and safely.

They knew that the conventional method of cleaning with chlorine would cause rapid shingle deterioration and brittleness. Also,the high pressure needed for cleaning would remove granules; the source of your shingle color and heat reflective protection. So, their first goal was to develop an environmentally safe cleaning formula that would remove the fungus and cleanse the roof with little, if any, granule loss. Because of this, Roof Life™ was the innovator to first employ the low pressure claening metohods, now refered to today as soft washing or soft wash. Their second goal was to create another formula that would prevent further fungus growth and staining.

 

By the mid-1970’s, after years of research and field-testing, these two formulas were perfected. Because the second formula contained chemicals that help bond granules to the shingle, thus extending the life of the roof, these formulas were named Roof Life™.

 

Authorized dealers have now used Roof Life™ products on tens of thousands of roofs just like yours. There are most likely customers of ours close by or right in your neighborhood!

 

OurRoof Life™ dealership has been operating in Jacksonville since 1992 as Home Care Services and now we are Roof Life JAX™ L.L.C. We provide several types of
other Envir-O-Safe, Soft Wash cleaning services. We clean it all from the top of
your roof all the way down to your curb at the street. 

We started in Jacksonville in 1992, with one truck and a handful of customers. We then grew to three trucks and more than 1,200 customers. Our customers enjoy the benefits of a clean home because they are on The Guardian Maintenance Program/i> and new customers are coming on board everyday. We're recognized as the preferred exterior cleaning company in most gated communities here on the First Coast.
